The Bulldogs Behind The Brand
Bulldogs Behind the Brand:
To say I love dogs, particularly English Bulldogs would be an understatement. It all started with our first Bulldog, Winston, back in 2005. There was something about his ambivalent and dismissive demeanor that made him quirky and we knew he had to come home with us. The breeder called him "The Boss" and boy did he try to make that title stick! These guys are so quirky but they're also the funniest, silliest, and most loving breed. It didn't take any time for Winston to work his way deep into our hearts.
Over the years and countless photos and posts on social media with him, I realized how deep an impact he had on hundreds of people...near and far. Many of whom never even met him but felt like they knew him. That's Winston. That's Bulldogs!
So now you may be wondering, how does "bulldog" tie in with "real estate". That's easy: Helping others has always come naturally to me so I excel at helping clients with their real estate needs and helping to make the process of buying or selling a home as stress-free as possible. And I love dogs and it breaks my heart when I hear of dogs in need, being abused, abandoned or neglected so it was an easy connection for me to connect my love for helping people find their dream homes and helping dogs find their loving, dream homes, too!
On March 26, 2019, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Winston of 14 years. Winston was more than "just a dog" or "a pet". He was our baby. Our hearts. Through the tears and pain, it became crystal clear that Winston wasn't gone forever and that I would keep his memory alive by making sure that other dogs have just as good a chance of being in a loving home like he did. We've committed to donating to animal rescue with every home sold therefore we partnered with SoCal Bulldog Rescue and together we are going to help the local communities of Southern California and San Diego to ensure that neglected, surrendered and abused dogs do not live out the rest of their lives in kennels and shelters and instead are placed in loving & caring homes.
So when you see the bulldog, think of CAhomes at REAL Broker. We take pride in helping our clients find their dream home and we are super excited to help thousands of dogs find their dream homes, too!

Fostering Harry (formerly St. Nick)
So Winston was the genesis of LoveCAhomes and now Harry is the next generation. Harry came to us from Southern California Bulldog Rescue as a foster. Our hearts still raw from grieving the loss of Winston, we knew we needed to open them for this guy called “St. Nick” who was in a shelter with no adopters on the horizon. We reached out and let SoCal Bulldog Rescue know that we’d foster him until a loving, forever home was found. During the time he was in our foster care, we cared for him and loved on him like we would had we had him from 8 weeks old (he was 3 years old). We took him places & socialized him in preparation for his next home. But after just 2 short weeks, I didn’t have the heart to send him away and so we made the decision to adopt him and welcome him officially into our hearts & our home. And boy are we glad we did. We’ve since changed his name to one more fitting of him and his personality. His formal name is “Harry Winston”. It feels so good to honor Winston and share his name as Harry’s middle name.
Harry has been having a blast going to work, meeting new homebuyers and sellers and bringing smiles to all that cross his path (in person and on social media). He helped my heart heal which has allowed me to do what I’m most passionate about which is helping others.
CAHomes at Real Broker is committed to donating to animal rescue with every home sold. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you and your real estate needs.
Adopting Olive
My boyfriend and I were attending a fundraiser event for a dog rescue and while there we learned that a female bulldog puppy was coming into the recuse the following day. I saw one picture of her and knew in my heart that she belonged in our family. We arranged a meet and greet so Harry could meet Olive and make sure that they were compatible. They of course were and the rest as they say is history. We brought Olive home and are now happily a family of 4. Olive was 7 months old at the time we adopted her and as we understand her story, we saved her from a life of being used as a breeding dog. The prior owner was planning on breeding her and using her as a money making machine. I am so thankful that we were able to rescue her and give her the life that all puppies and dogs deserve. One where they can play, snuggle, eat and enjoy life to the fullest.
